Why you should view pop-up markets as a marketing expense!

Now if you did not know, I am a market Queen! I love popping up in my local neighboring cities to share my love and work with my neighbors. I have been popping up in a slew of markets fro the past 10 years now and have sold anything from bowties to fine art ! They can be the best thing for your business if you play your cards right. With a total of 37 Markets last year I had the best sales in my business thus far and that is 100% attributed to markets!

What I love about doing markets is that it is an openly public traffic to your art work and small business. Now this is also reliant on the marketing and scale of the event you’re attending. But generally pop up markets are a way to show off your ______ to 5,000 + people, I’ve been to markets that have 60,000 in attendance ! Unless you have a killer email list or social media following that is an incredible amount of reach to your business even if someone just catches your logo and recognizes it later! Think about it what other opportunity do you have to sell and promote your product live and in person to a captive audience!

What I love most about Markets is that you get to showcase your brand to the fullest extent! You get to chose what you bring, how you display and how you market your small business! People LOVE being able to shake hands with the maker and hear your story of why! So stand proud and show up for your brand!

Some added benefits at market is reaching your community, connecting with retailers, sharing your work and getting potential online sales, gaining more followers on your social media pages and so much more!

If you haven’t tried one in your area, you should do some window shopping and see which event would fit you best and then GO FOR IT!

If you’re unsure of where to start or begin I also offer a comprehensive 60 page packet for only $28 that will give you links to where to sign up for markets, what to pack and so much more! You can find a link for that below!
